A CxG-inspired notation for glue
Avery Andrews
November 2022

This paper draft presents a notation for LFG's glue semantics that is inspired by Fillmore and Kay's 'box notation' for Construction Grammar, which might hopefully be easier to understand than the usual ones (being deductive proofs, and, occasionally, proof nets). The notation is presented very gently in the body of the paper, with a formally more demanding final section going through what is needed to connect to the standard formulations.
